The Law Enforcement Survival Institute was founded to provide information, education and training to law enforcement professionals about how to survive the rigors of a career in law enforcement. We include all persons that work in law enforcement.
Although our language frequently refers to "officers," we realize that deputies, sergeants, lieutenants, captains, commanders, chiefs, other police executives, detectives, SWAT operators, hostage negotiators, corrections officers, patrol officers, probation officers, dispatchers, CSI's and evidence technicians all may suffer the ill effects of stress from a career in law enforcement.
We are also keenly aware of the effect that this career has on the family members of our law enforcement professionals and work to support them as well.
